DR RAJ MEMORIAL – CURTAIN RAISER

It is eight years, seven months and 17 days after the death of icon of Dr Rajakumar the memorial is coming up on Saturday 29th May 2014 (Dr Rajakumar demise was on April 12, 2006).

The huge set has been set up at two acres land at Kanteerava studio and for the inauguration of statue of ‘Padmabhushana Dr Rajakumar’ and memorial inauguration public is barred from visiting. It is only after the inauguration and guests like Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Rajanikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mammooty, D V Sadananda Gowda and various others the public are allowed inside to visit. The police bundobust is made to control the fans.

It is only for the media the entry passes are issued. The huge dais has some attraction for the occasion.

Meanwhile for the evening function Rajanikanth, Tamil super star is not attending. He will be seen in the morning inauguration says the sources.

At the rehearsal Dr Ambarish, Shivarajkaumar, Dr Srinath, Dr Jayanthi, Dr Leelavathi, Ramesh Aravind and others took part at the rehearsals.

Dr Ambarish and Sumalatha are in the song Nee Bandhu Nintaaga….Dr Leelavathi and Edakallu Chandrasekhare are in the song Swabhimananada Nalle…..Dr Shivarajakumar is appearing in the song Jagave Ondu Ranaranga….

There are many more such cultural programs to treat the fans of Dr Rajakumar.
